MAA Swim #5

Swam 6 sets of 6 lengths. That's 648 meters, which is only 102 meters short of the sprint triathlon distance. Took a break between each set, but felt pretty good at the end. Seven sets of 6 lengths will have me doing 752 meters, so I'm almost there.

Tampa Swim

The pool is about the same length as the MAA, did two groups of six laps but then others jumped in, making it harder to do laps.

Swim

In training for a triathlon I may never do I swam for the first time with swim training in mind. At the Valois Pool I swam four laps (note, a lap is defined as swimming the span from one side to the other, so four laps means start on side A, ->B, ->A, ->B ->A). I then took a three minute break, swam four laps again, took a five minute break, and then swam six laps. The six laps I swam in about 200 seconds. I need to find out what the distance is of each lap, as I am working my way up to get to 750m. Mind you, I won't be in that pool for much longer as the summer is wrapping up soon.
